When Russia invaded Ukraine some four years ago, the global power array was almost as clear as during the height of the Cold War : that being the Western Alliance, led by the United States, against the Moscow-centered East. However in the modern day context we have the breakup of the Soviet Union and the emergence of China as a looming superpower.
