Starbucks baristas across the nation are targeting Charlie Kirk fans in the aftermath of his assassination and martyrdom. Charlie’s favorite drink at Starbucks was a Mint Majesty tea with two honeys. And fans across the nation are ordering the beverage to honor the late conservative leader.
Autumn Perkins placed an order at a Starbucks located inside a Kroger in Middletown, Ohio. When she received her drink she discovered the barista had written a vile message on the cup: “racist’s fave drink.”
“It’s time for people to stop this nonsense,” Perkins told Fox News. “I feel like Charlie stood for respect — we don’t have to agree on everything. We can disagree on a lot of things, but we respect each other.”
Starbucks told Fox in a statement that the staffer confessed to the despicable act had has been fired.
“Writing this on a cup is unacceptable, and we have clear policies that prohibit negative messages to help preserve a welcoming environment,” the company wrote in a statement. “This Starbucks location is licensed and operated by Kroger. We understand that this associate was terminated by Kroger.”
Perkins wrote about her experience on social media and soon her story became viral.
“The girl at Starbucks thought she was cute,” Perkins wrote in the post. “I don’t even support Starbucks bc of everything they stand for starting with their satanic logo, but I support Charlie Kirk so I thought you know what… I’ll get his drink.”
“Thank you Starbucks for proving to me exactly why I prefer to support my small local Christian owned and operated coffee shop. Well done,” she added.
