Chaplains Deploy to Tennessee Following Explosion at Munitions Plant

admin October 12, 2025

The Billy Graham Rapid Response Team (BG-RRT) is deploying crisis-trained chaplains near Nashville, Tennessee, where multiple casualties have been reported following a blast at an explosives manufacturing plant. As of Saturday morning, 18 people are unaccounted for.

“The images coming out of the explosion in Tennessee are devastating. Our hearts break for all the families of those who were working in the plant at the time of the tragedy,” said Josh Holland, international director of BG-RRT. “Chaplains will come alongside the first responders who were sent to this explosion site, the families of the plant workers, and all those affected by this incident to provide emotional and spiritual care in the wake of this disaster.”

Please pray for families awaiting news of their loved ones, for first responders, and for chaplains ministering in the area.

The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) was founded by Billy Graham in 1950 and exists to support and extend the evangelistic calling and ministry of Franklin Graham by proclaiming the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. BGEA is also a Contributing Publisher to Harbinger’s Daily.
