Queer Marxism seeks to erase the gender binary, starting with our kids.
“Would you rather have a living daughter or a dead son?” is the script many parents have heard when they seek help regarding a child who is convinced his true self is not aligned with his biological sex. This statement sends children and their families down a road of hormone blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgical interventions. There are, ironically, sex-specific horrors involved with trying to turn a boy into a girl or a girl into a boy, but what they have in common is a mutilated, sterilized, medicalized-for-life individual who now has lost some of what made them a healthy biological girl or boy but has not gained the opposite sex reality they were promised.
But what if this has very little to do with an organic phenomenon of gender confusion but is the result of a deliberate campaign of brainwashing as part of a Marxist agenda?
Marxist Propaganda Aimed at Children
Marxism attempts to overthrow the current societal structures in an attempt to usher in the Marxist utopia. As explained in Modern Marxism, three Marxist strategies for overturning society are playing out in our culture today.
- Undermine marriage and family.
- Target young people, especially through the education system.
- Subvert the church and state, making these institutions agents of revolution rather than guardians of the status quo.
Attacking the gender binary advances all three strategies because the private property that Marxism seeks to eliminate isn’t just overtly economic, like money, houses, and businesses; it also includes categories that are seen as giving societal power or “privilege.” One of these categories is “heteronormativity.” People whose identity matches their biological sex are seen as having privilege that must be dismantled. Queer identities seek to undermine heteronormativity as part of the Marxist agenda.
Teaching programs indoctrinate teachers in Marxist ideology, and then those teachers go into public schools, where they unleash this propaganda on even their youngest students. This results in instances like the “genderbread person,” or the “gender unicorn,” where children are invited to choose where they fall on a scale from male to female and even to describe their sexuality (note: prepubescent children do not have a sexuality, and any sexual acting out on a child’s part is a classic sign that the child has been abused). This matters because children are suggestible, especially when an authority figure suggests that it is desirable to be something other than a normal, healthy, little boy or girl. As the wave of detransitioners coming out of the trans movement is proving, this is not an organic phenomenon of people being born in the wrong body. These kids are being brainwashed into gender confusion, and the consequences can be permanent and tragic.
Is this happening in every classroom? No. There are lots of teachers who just want to teach math and reading and history. There are even committed Christian teachers who want to be salt and light in a very challenging environment, which is commendable. But it could be happening in any classroom, which is why parents who send their children to public schools need to be proactive about knowing what their child is being taught.
And even if your children attend a Christian school, sadly, you cannot be sure that your kids will not be exposed to gender ideology. The Rite Journey, for instance, which is mainly used in Australia, is explicitly marketed to Christian schools with a “Scripture-based” teachers’ book. See analysis of The Rite Journey.
Pre-Indoctrinate Your Children with the Truth!
Indoctrination has a negative connotation, but in fact, parents have a responsibility to teach their children the truth and to reinforce it on a regular basis so that they are less vulnerable to anti-Christian indoctrination. This includes the following truths:
- God has created each of us male or female, and that design is good. Boys should look forward to growing up to be men, and girls should look forward to growing up to be women. The sexes are not interchangeable.
- We are a body/soul unity, not a soul inhabiting a body. It is not possible for one’s true self to be at odds with his or her biology. Development from a boy into a man or a girl into a woman can be awkward and even uncomfortable at times because of the fall, but it is that way for many people who go on to be happy in their biological gender.
- Practically everyone has some interests or talents that are not completely stereotypical to their biological sex. This just means that the stereotypes don’t completely match reality! As long as it doesn’t disobey God’s Word, girls and boys should be able to enjoy activities typically associated with the opposite gender—this does not turn a boy into a girl or a girl into a boy!
Your children will encounter gender ideology. If not in the classroom, they will be introduced to it by media or their friends. Make sure they are equipped with a worldview that allows them to resist it.
