Archdiocese agrees to sell land under historic NYC luxury hotel for $490M to pay sex abuse victims


The Catholic Archdiocese of New York has agreed to sell the land it currently owns beneath the historic Lotte New York Palace Hotel—New York’s first five-star hotel—for $490 million dollars to help pay survivors of priest sex abuse.
