Texas Gov. Greg Abbott orders temporary freeze on H-1B visas petitions at all state agencies


Texas will immediately freeze new petitions for H-1B visas at all state agencies and public institutions of higher education in response to reports of abuse in the federal program and a need to prioritize jobs for Texas workers.
