One month into the US – Iran ceasefire, and the situation both in the negotiation room, and on the ground – or rather, in the water – remains tense and somewhat volatile. The Iranians appear to be acting as if they believe that time is on their side, and politically they could actually win an attrition-type war of nerves. However, President Trump retains the power of initiative and therefore also the escalation dominance. So, where is this crisis headed?
